Out of the Cocoon (2020)

Out of the Cocoon marked my first on-screen appearance in a short film. The story follows a young boy living with mental illness as he struggles with reality and his relationship with his brother.
Recognising the emotional complexity of the role, I conducted extensive research into mental health conditions, studying real-life diagnoses and academic material. I worked closely with my drama professor to deconstruct the character and build an authentic performance from the ground up.
This process allowed me to portray the character with depth, vulnerability, and emotional truth, laying the foundation for my screen acting career.
